Vitals entry

Both front-end staff and providers can enter patient vitals and measurements. When staff enters vitals, measurements, and other notes, providers must review, sign and lock the encounter note. See Entering vitals and other notes (front-end staff).

You can also view vitals in graph format (see Graphing vitals).

If configured, staff can enter vitals without the need for a provider to sign and lock the encounter (for example, for weight management session). See Entering vitals without a provider (front-end staff).

You can also enter multiple vitals at once, such as multiple blood pressure readings at different time intervals (see Entering multiple vitals). And you can enter past vitals, such ones you receive from the patient or a report from another provider (see Entering historical vitals).
