In the Harmful Substances area of the medical summary, you can view and record information on:

Smoking history (see Recording and viewing smoking history)

Alcohol history (see Viewing and recording alcohol history)

Use of harmful substances and other risk factors (for example, risky behaviors) (see Viewing and recording other risks)

If you want to record only basic information about a patient’s risk factors, you can quickly record a number of risk factors using Quick Entry. See Recording social history and risk factors using quick entry.
