Viewing and modifying vaccinations from the medical summary

The Vaccinations area of the medical summary displays a complete list of all a patient’s vaccinations and associated dates. You can view or modify details for a specific vaccine by double-clicking it.

Steps

1.

Open the patient’s medical summary (see Opening the medical summary). The Vaccinations area displays:

The patient's administered vaccinations.

The patient’s refused vaccinations.

The Primary Immunizes Completed check box.

Note: To quickly indicate that a patient (no matter what age) has received all required Primary Immunizations, select the Primary Immunizations Completed check box.

To view more detailed information about a vaccination, in the Vaccinations area, double-click the vaccination. The EMR displays the Vaccinations window.

From the Vaccinations window, you can:

View and modify vaccination details (see Viewing and modifying patient vaccinations (new prescriber).)

Record a new vaccination (see Recording a vaccination (new prescriber))

Record that a patient refused a vaccination (see Recording refused vaccinations (new prescriber))
