eReferrals
If the video does not play, copy the web address into a web browser outside the Wolf EMR data centre.
Using the TELUS Health eReferral feature, you can quickly and securely send and receive electronic versions of referrals to and from other providers who also use the Wolf EMR eReferral.
When you send an eReferral to a consultant or specialist, they are notified immediately in their Incoming Referrals list.
When you receive an eReferral from a referring clinic, you can open the referral in the Referral Letter Composer, view and import attached patient medical information into your EMR, and then send you a reply (accepted, declined, need more information) through the Wolf EMR messaging system. The referring provider is notified immediately of the accepted or declined referral in the Referrals area of the WorkDesk. Front-end staff do not have to call or send a letter to the referring clinic.
In addition, providers and consultants can send each other messages and documents to discuss the patient.
