Disabling or enabling the Patient Assistance Program

Note: This information applies to the new prescriber (see New prescriber).

Users with administrator authority can disable the Patient Assistance Program (PAP) for all locations of your Wolf EMR.

Each provider can also opt out of (or opt back into) the program. Opting out removes the indicator when prescribing participating medications.

When providers first log on, they are prompted to enable the program.

Once you accept (or decline), you can always opt out or into the program later. If you choose Ask Me Later, you are prompted with the same message in 24 hours.

Steps

1. To disable PAP for the entire clinic, from the Wolf EMR home page, click Configuration > Runtime Configuration tab, and clear the PAP Enabled check box.

Tip: To enable PAP, select the check box.

2. To disable PAP for a provider:
a) From the Wolf EMR home page, click Configuration .
b) From the Configuration menu, choose Physicians/Service Providers > Office Service Providers. The Physicians/Service Providers in Clinic window opens.
