Deleting procedures from your clinic list

If you add a procedure or surgery to your clinic’s procedure list, and later decide that you want to permanently remove the procedure (for example, if you realize that the procedure is already on the list), you can delete the procedure.

Steps

1.

Open the Surgery Maintenance window, and then search for a procedure you want to delete. See step 1 to step 3 in Modifying medical procedures and surgeries in your clinic procedure list.

2.

To open the procedure, click the procedure’s Internal ID number. The <procedure name> - Surgery window opens.

3.

At the top of the window, click Delete .

Note: If the Delete icon is unavailable (greyed-out) or if a warning pop-up indicates that this procedure has been used in patient charts, the procedure cannot be deleted.

4.

Click Save and Close .
