Defining rates for fee codes

When you create a custom fee code, you must define the rates for the service. There are two types of rates you can apply to a fee code:

Base rates: The standard (default) fees for a service. See Managing base rates for fee codes.

Special rates: Used to over-ride the standard base rates for a short period of time. For example, when you have a “sale” on an aesthetics service. See Managing special rates for fee codes.

You can also modify rates for MSP fee codes if needed.

Important: Any modifications you make to provincial rates are replaced when MSP fee codes are updated.
