Managing lab sending facilities

Each lab sending facilities in your area that sends electronic investigations must be configured in Wolf EMR. Each facility has a code to identify where the investigation came from.

These codes are pre-loaded and you only need to change them if you are aware of updates before TELUS Health sends them to you.

Steps

1.

On the Wolf EMR home page, click Configuration .

2.

In the Configuration window menu, click View > Lab Codes > Sending Facilities. The Lab Sending Facilities window opens.

3.

To add a new sending facility, click the new button in the upper-left corner and type a description and an abbreviation.

4.

To edit a facility, click it in the list and change its information.

5.

To delete a facility, click it in the list and from the File menu, click Delete.
